The Coalition to Block the North American Union has launched a new Petition campaign to pressure this year's Republican and Democrat candidates for President of the United States to pledge their support for American liberty and to publicly declare their opposition to a "North American Union" (NAU). This "Presidential Pledge" campaign is directed at Republican Senator John McCain, Democrat Senator Barack Obama, and the other candidates for President. Its purpose is to place the "NAU," the "NAFTA Superhighway," and America's disappearing liberty front-and-center on the Presidential campaign trail. So far, only the Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin, has prominently stated his opposition to the NAU and the NAFTA Superhighway.
The Coalition is hoping to soon flood the campaign offices of every other candidate in a sea of Petitions calling on them to sign a Pledge AGAINST America's absorption into the NAU. If any refuse to make such a Pledge, the American people will be left to assume his/her answer is "NO". Otherwise, we will have each candidate on record as to where he or she stands on America's continued existence as an independent Republic. The Coalition seeks to take the growing menace of the NAU and the NAFTA Superhighway out of the back room and place them on the front burners of this year's Presidential campaign. Please click here if you would like to sign a Petition to each of the Presidential candidates demanding to know where they stand on the NAU. Once you do, your Petition will be printed along with thousands of others from across the nation. They will then be bundled up and shipped to the Presidential headquarters of each candidate in a relentless wave demanding that each candidate publicly state his or her position on America's independence and survival. NAU War Room Chairman Howard Phillips issues this statement announcing this new Pledge campaign, "Whether the candidates like it or not, this critical issue (the NAU) must be front-and-center on the campaign trail between now and November. We deserve to know where John McCain and Barack Obama and other Presidential candidates stand. I and a majority of American citizens can tell you where we stand. We stand for America first! We believe that the United States must, at all costs, remain a free, independent Constitutional Republic that answers to no other nation or international entity. We believe that the Constitution of the Untied States should always supersede any and all foreign laws and/or tribunals. And we believe that the borders to the United States must be fully secured, fully guarded, and fully respected by all foreigners and by our elected leaders here. Common sense would suggest that each Presidential candidate will quickly agree with each of these positions and PLEDGE his or her opposition to the 'NAFTA Superhighway' and the 'North American Union.' Common sense would also suggest that President George W. Bush and many of America's leading foreign policy experts and corporate CEOs would agree as well. However, it is many of them who are leading the charge for a "North American Community" and the "NAFTA Superhighway." And if we fail to place pressure on the potential incoming President, it is at our nation's peril!" This new effort is just one part of the Coalition's overall national campaign to expose and halt the "NAU" and the "NAFTA Superhighway". In addition to this Petition campaign, the NAU War Room has other avenues for the American public to stop the drive to create a North American Union. Sign the Petition today! |
